The License.ws Wallet: Add Credit Once, Stop Chasing Invoices

Updated September 16, 2026

You can pay every invoice by hand. Plenty of people do. But the wallet exists so you do not have to think about renewal dates at all — you leave credit in your account, and invoices come out of it on their own.

How the License.ws wallet works

In plain terms

Three things happen, in this order.

You add credit. Open Wallet, type an amount, pay with a card or with crypto. The balance updates the moment the payment clears.

The credit waits. It does not expire. It is not reserved for one licence. It is simply money sitting in your License.ws account.

Invoices take what they need. When a new invoice is created — a renewal, an upgrade, an IP change — your balance pays it right away, without you doing anything.

That last part is the important one: credit on the account means nothing has to be paid by hand.

What you get for topping up more

A larger deposit earns bonus credit on top. The bonus is added at the same moment as the deposit, in one go.

$25010%$275
$50012%$560
$1,00015%$1,150

$2,00020%$2,400

License.ws deposit bonus ladder

One tier per deposit — the highest your amount reaches. $700 sits on the $500 tier, so it earns 12%, not 12% plus 10% plus 5%.

And the bonus repeats. It is not limited to your first top-up.

The smallest deposit we accept is $1. The largest single deposit is $10,000; ask us if you need to move more than that at once.

The order invoices are settled in

If more than one invoice is waiting when your balance is topped up, we work through them in a fixed order:

  1. Anything already overdue.
  2. Then the smallest amounts, so the most invoices get cleared.
  3. Then whatever is due soonest.

If the balance runs out halfway through an invoice, the part it covers is applied and the rest stays owing — you can pay that remainder with a card or crypto whenever you want. Nothing is lost and nothing is charged twice.

Two things the wallet deliberately will not do: it will not pay a wallet top-up invoice (that would be circular), and it leaves alone a purchase you began over a week ago and never finished.

Timing

Renewal invoices are created seven days before the licence expires, and a funded wallet settles them the moment they appear. So if you do not want a licence to renew, cancel it in your dashboard before that invoice is created — with more than seven days left on it. Nothing is raised and nothing is taken.

If an invoice was already created and paid from your balance, open a ticket and we will look at it.

Questions

Is the bonus real credit or a discount code?+

Real credit. Once it is in the wallet it behaves exactly like the money you deposited and pays for any product in the catalogue.

Can I combine wallet credit with a promo code?+

Yes. The bonus happens when you deposit. Discounts happen when you buy. They do not cancel each other out.

Can wallet credit be withdrawn?+

No. It is credit for use on License.ws, so add what you know you will use.

What if the invoice is bigger than my balance?+

Your balance is applied to it and the difference stays due. Top up again, and the rest is cleared automatically.

Can I have the wallet top itself up?+

Yes — Auto-Topup on the Wallet page. Choose the level at which it should trigger and the amount to add, and we charge your saved card when the balance drops below it. It needs a card already saved on your account.

My deposit failed at the payment page. What now?+

Nothing was created and nothing was charged. Your balance is untouched. Try again with another method.

How do I see the history?+

Every deposit, bonus and invoice payment is listed on the Wallet page with the balance after each one.
